When you know that which is truly real, when you can see that what you thought was real is actually illusion then you will laugh the belly laughter of immense freedom.
Time is Thought – an in-depth look at the origin of time and consciousness. Release Date: Autumn 2023.
It is the content of our consciousness that makes us individual. Freedom from this content demonstrates the true nature of humanity, which is not individual. It is only in perception that we are individual, but fundamentally our essence is the same. This principle of sameness is the fundamental truth of reality.
1. The New Physics –
An in-depth yet accessible discussion of much of the findings of contemporary physics which shed light on our investigation of Truth. Diagrams and illustrations are used to assist in this introduction to ideas from Quantum Mechanics and String Theory, questioning theories about the origins of our universe.
2. Is Creation Art? –
‘Big’ questions about our existence are related to findings from contemporary physics and mathematics, introducing the reader to visually artistic numbers such as the Mandelbrot Set and questioning our perception of reality using the elegance of mathematic equations.
3. The Darwinism Controversy –
By looking at creationist arguments and issues surrounding Natural Selection, this chapter analyses the possible conclusions to be drawn about evolution and introduces the reader to some of the mysteries surrounding DNA.
4. Free Will: A Biological Perspective –
Drawing on biology, neuroscience and religious thought, this chapter questions our perceived free will and the idea of predestination in the universe.
5. Meditation is Attunement –
This is an eloquent discussion of meditation and some of the pitfalls that can arise with strict disciplinary systems. Referencing the teachings of various meditation masters, this description of attunement and emptiness also outlines the health benefits of meditation.
6. The Implications of Chaos Theory –
To understand order, we must understand chaos. This chapter gives the reader something of a ‘crash course’ in symmetry, modelling chaos and fractal geometry, presenting hypotheses and drawing potential conclusions about existence, and ending with a brief introduction to the important field of symbolic processing.
7. You and Existence –
Drawing on the teachings of ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tze, the approach advocated here is one of empowerment through powerlessness. The chapter goes on to understand the Buddhist concept of ‘Maya’ using the modern terminology of physics and information theory.
8. Enlightenment: Consciousness Totality –
The book reaches the core of its teachings now with an attempt to prepare the reader for the experience of Consciousness Totality, which by its very nature is beyond description. Drawing on the artistic and fractal-based elements of this experience leads to a discussion of non-locality, and finally a return to ‘pure vision’.
9. Fields of Consciousness –
The discussion continues, going on to explore the idea that reality is non-local. This chapter examines some of biology’s unanswered questions before moving on to look at holographic principles and the role they may play in the human brain and wider human existence.
10. It’s All Thought –
The reader is now prepared for this systematic presentation about the birth of time and construction of reality. The true meaning of consciousness and the nature of objective reality are discussed in detail. Using the language of mathematics and information theory, this chapter asserts each of our ability to discover these truths about reality for ourselves.
11. Buddha’s Ultimate Assertion –
This penultimate chapter re-examines Buddha’s teachings in the light of our new vocabulary of Consciousness Totality and ‘pure vision’. It discusses enlightenment and Anatta, the State of non-Being, before moving on to an important description of the void of empty awareness.
12. The Principal Teaching –
A helpful and detailed overview of the contents of the book, highlighting the principal concepts and encouraging the investigation which the reader is now able to undertake in the light of these new and important teachings.
